9m Users and iPhone App for Google Latitude
Google today introduced its friend finder service Latitude for the iPhone and announced it has more than 9 million people actively using it from Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, and Windows Mobile smartphones.

Besides being available on the latest Apple smartphones, what is interesting is that Google Latitude’s user base has grown 300 percent since early May 2010 (read here). At that time we were little impressed by three million users, but now it has grown exponentially and with the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 it is likely to continue to do so.
